Happy 37th B-Day Uncle Jon
Happy 37th Birthday!
On Wednesday we celebrated Uncle Jon's birthday. All the kids made him a "Happy Birthday Poster" and sang to him... they were so cute. They love their Uncle Jon!
Uncle Jon's favorite gift.... Guitar Hero. He loves it! He had to take a "few" lessons from Josie. BUT now he is becoming quite a pro. A big thanks to Uncle Brad and Aunt Jan for finding and purchasing this! We all chipped in... however, when Uncle Jon found it in Aunt Kerry's car... he gave her all the credit. :)

Happy 25th Anniversary!
Can you believe it's been 25 years? Who knew!! This week in Idaho we held a surprise celebration for the parents. Mindy and Lanette were the instigators--great job!
We had dinner at Olive Garden with everyone who was in town--Jan and Brad, Curt and Torri, Lanette and Mike (+ family), Jon and Kristen, and Mindy (+ Wyatt/Grace). Everyone had to be coaxed to move in closer, except for Net and Mike--hello!! :)
We all pitched in and got them a commemorative rock for their garden and gift certificates to The Cellar--a nice IF restaurant--and the Paramount theatre. I wasn't too sure about "the rock"--25 years together and all you get is some ole rock?! It turned out quite cute, however. Next time I'll learn to shut my mouth... :)
Bob wasn't too excited about being "dragged" out somewhere. We tried to keep the evening a surprise... BUT Bob could tell something was up -- I'm not sure he completely trusted us. :) I think they were both pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed a wonderful evening with the family. Looking forward to hitting the golden milestone. Hope everyone will be around, that the parents will come along more willingly, and that we can double the size of that commemorative rock!
