Josie Comes To AZ

This was Josie's 1st time coming to AZ by herself. In fact it was her 1st flight that she flew by herself. Way to go Josie.... so proud of you!

Josie was almost the last person off the plane... she had to be escorted to make certain I was the person who was supposed to be picking her up.



After a few forms and a couple signatures we were on our way home.



Wake up call

Who would have thought that we would be in the pool at 6:30AM. Josie really wanted to go last night... but I told her she would have plenty of time the next few days. :)

Josie came prepared... with several swimsuits, toys, and goggles. She was ready for some serious pool time.

I tried to get Josie to go to another doughnut place... but she told me her F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E was Krispy Kremes. So me being the nice Aunt I am... ended up there.



Josie can't wait to have a bite. Yum! Yum!!!



We got two blueberry cake, two maple, and two glazed. Delish!!!

Next we headed to the mall. Her first stop was Aeropostale. I never knew that Josie was a shopper.... it's amazing how much energy she has for HER stores. :)

We went to "How to Train Your Dragon".... I don't think she was too impressed. We did get some popcorn and soda.

I think she was pretty worn out by the end of the day and ready to go home and check out her loot.




A few things she got. We finally had dinner around 8:30PM. I fixed steak and potatoes. I was informed that I was not doing a good job of "parenting". Because she didn't get a "healthy" meal until 8:30 at night. :) Oh well... tomorrow is another day.

A Few More Things We Did

The Kramers invited us over to swim. Josie was excited for some more pool time.

Later after swimming we went to Dairy Queen for a treat. Thanks again Kramers- we had a blast!!!



Mesa Swap Meet- Josie was dying of heat. They didn't have the misters on at 7:30am... but I brought some water... so she managed to survive. :)

Aunt Joann came over for Sunday dinner. We had ribs, baked potatoes, & salad. Josie was thrilled she got to go to YW's with me.

Later we met Lora again and did some more shopping. Not certain if Josie is going to have enough room in her suitcases for everything. We had dinner at Aunt Joann's. Lora even came with us. Good food and wonderful company. Thanks!!!!

Josie got to come with me to work a couple of days. She did pretty good. She got to do a few jobs. :)

But after a while ... she got a little bored. :)

One more stop at Aunt Joann's for chicken, mashed potatoes, and country gravy. Josie's favorite! We said good-bye... tomorrow is Idaho.

Cell Phone

Josie gets her very own cell phone. She is super excited and plans to buy a purple case for it. Now the fun begins... just think in a few years it will be a car. :)

I have been telling my family that we have some wild parakeets in my neighborhood... but I don't think anyone believed me... so here's the proof. :) Usually when I go for a walk with Sophie in the morning I see them. (around 20+ birds) They are quick little buggers... I guess you could say they are a little camera shy. It took me forever to get this picture and it's not that great.

Man Card Reinstated

It's official. Jon's "Man Card" has now been reinstated. Jon got his new truck... and is lovin life. :) There is just something about boys and their trucks.

Not certain who is more excited... Jon... or his boys.

Cattle Drive

Riley had the opportunity to go on his 1st cattle drive by himself (without his dad or grandpa Boyle) with Reed Longhurst. I think he was a little nervous... but did awesome.

Have I told you that I have the Best Sister in the entire world?!! Love her to death!!! Wish we lived closer... I miss her tons. Yesterday she got to celebrate lunch with friends and dinner with family. Happy 45Th Jan!!
