BEE all that you can BEE!

Happy Halloween from AZ
This year Sophie's Halloween costume was for my mom.
She loves bees.

Poor Sophie, each year she has the "opportunity" to dress-up for Halloween. As you can see by her face... she loves it. :) It's really not that bad. She puts on the costume... I take a couple of pictures... off comes the costume... and from then on it is one of her favorite "chew toys". I don't think anyone needs to call "PETA" for animal cruelty. :)

This year we went over to the McLaws and watched them hand out candy. This year I was a slacker... I didn't buy any candy for trick-or-treaters. I'll do better next year.

Halloween In Idaho Falls

I have to give PROPS to the parents... for dressing up for Halloween!!! They looked awesome!!!

I'm still in shock that they actually dressed up. It took a "little" prompting and an extremely talented make-up artist. But they got it done. Secretly... I think they both loved it!!! :)

Kristen (sis-in-law) helping with mom's make up.

Great job Kris!!!

Putting the final touches on and then they were off to the ward party. I was a little sad that Jon and his boys didn't get to see them. They went fishing with Keith Elkington.

Kristen and Griffin

Jon and his boys with some of the fish they caught

Of course, when the boys got back from fishing... they got dressed and did a little trick-or- treating.

Love his skunk outfit.

Happy Birthday Hallie Hilton

Happy Birthday to my sweet little niece! Can't believe she is 10!!!

Hallie and her cake

My sister does such an amazing job with their cakes. This one I would probably want to kill myself because of all the different colored layers. Way to go Jan!!!

Yummy... looks delish!

Love her cake!!!

One... two... three... BLOW!!

They did a little rock climbing

I'm so amazed... Hallie is fearless. Me- I'm scared to death of heights. She is up the wall in just a couple of minutes.

And then the fun was over for another year.

Relatives

Janice came for a visit. A few of the relatives got together. It was good food and wonderful company! Hurry back Janice!!!

Slippin and Sliding

Happy Birthday Kristen!!!

Mom was so kind to make Kristen a cake. She said it was the worst looking one she has ever made. She said it kept slippin and sliding... she even put skewers in it to help hold it in place. By the time she got it to the table... it was all over. :)

Love it!!! It may not be a masterpiece (sorry mom) ... but at least it was tasty!!! And I'm certain it will be a cake that we won't soon forget. :)

Going ... Going... Gone!!!

I have been wanting to take out my Mesquite trees. And the other day they finally came down.

7 hours later....

And $600 poorer... they were finally gone!!!!

After it was all over and done. I was so sad. My house looks funny without those trees. I now have a new project for the parents when they come down this winter.... tree shopping!
