Rodeo

The Little Buckaroo Rodeo is held annually in Firth. (Small town south of Idaho Falls) It's the cutest thing ever! Jon's kids love it!!! I still haven't made it to one of them yet. :( It's a great opportunity for little kids. And most of all it's fun for the entire family! Some of the events are: Greased Pig, Ribbon Pulling from Goat, Stick Horse Barrel Ride, Chicken Chase, Sheep Riding, & Steer Riding. Here's a few pictures from this years event!

Carson and Riley with their Boyle cousins waiting for their chance. Please note: Riley changed into his tennis shoes. He wanted to give himself every opportunity of catching that pig. He thought he would be MUCH faster this way.... instead of his boots!

Riley HAD the pig but couldn't hang on long enough! :( Maybe next year...

McKay doing the Ribbon pull from the goat.

Carson riding the horse.
One of the great things about this rodeo is that it teaches kids about animals and allows them to be around them. Plus very kid that participates receives a belt buckle. What could be more fun?

Jon Cody's Wedding

Now let it be said... Now let it be written...

that my cousin Jon, finally got bitten!

With what you ask??? The "dreaded" marriage bug. All kidding aside, it was a beautiful wedding! I'm so happy for them!!! They were married on May 2nd in Sedona. April is such a doll! I'm so excited for her to be part of our family.

The ceremony was beautiful! The food was delicious! I'm really thankful that we (Jan, Jon, my mom & I) were able to go and help celebrate this happy occasion. Jon Cody and I have always been close. He is one of my fav's. (Don't tell him. I would hate to give him any additional ammo.) Some of my happiest/funniest memories are with him. April couldn't have found a better guy! It was so fun to see Joe (Jon Cody's brother) and his kids. This was our first time seeing/meeting Joey. He is a little stud! Lorrin is as cute as ever!

Here's a few snapshots of the wedding.

Congrats!!! Love you both!

Grace

This is my little sister's (Mindy) youngest. Her name is Grace. She is a cutie!

I love her!!! Here's one of the reasons why...

Mindy has been busy finishing this project for Grace's room. Isn't it cute?!? Mindy did a fabulous job! On one of the picture frames it says " All of God's grace in one sweet little face." I think everyone that has seen this loves it. Well everyone that is.... except Grace. This is so hilarious! This was Grace's reaction.

I think her face says everything. Talk about being "gracious".

Love her!!! :)

The event you have all been waiting to see!

My 20th Class Reunion was a BLAST!!! It was sheer craziness. I flew into IF on Friday and left on Monday.

Friday night- Open Mic and visiting at Jerry's restaurant(Whitewater Grill).
Saturday- 5K Run, Golf Scramble, picnic, and dinner at Shilo
Sunday- Church, steak dinner with the fam, concert at Dave's
Monday- "The boy's day" (golf, lunch & lemonade stand)& flight home.

It was also Iona Days. I did get to go to Friday's dutch-oven chicken dinner and Sat's breakfast with the parents and Jon's family. (in all my "spare" time)

5K Run and Golf Scramble

Picnic

Dinner at Shilo

It was so fun to reconnect with everyone!!! I only wish I had more time.

I still have a hard time believing that it has been 20 yrs since I graduated. It's amazing how fast those yrs have flown by. I thought it would be fun to see a few of the "then" pics vrs. all of the "now" pics.

My own private concert...

....because I was a total loser/slacker and missed TJ and especially Matt sing at the Open Mic on Friday night. The main reason I went was to hear Matt sing. I was late and missed it. Disappointment would be an understatement!!! But there is a happy side to all of this. Dave invited me over on Sunday...for my very own concert. (OK- not really my very own... but it makes me feel important when I say it like that.) It was so fun! We also helped TJ celebrate his 38th birthday. It was great company, wonderful food, and the best music ever!

TJ, his kids & Matt. Happy 38th TJ!!

Dave, Jill, TJ & Andy. Dave and Deborah fixed some tasty treats!

Dave and his cute kids
