We got together with the Balsmeier's. It's always so fun to see them.

We had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. I had a steak... it was wonderful!

Then we went bowling. I'm so not good at it. But it was fun.

We got to see Nick's new baby.... So sweet. We missed Bob.

I love hanging with them. Thanks Gene and Debbie for a fun night!!! Love you!

Then The Drama BEGAN

No longer do I have my Acura. That was so much Drama!!! It kind of put a huge damper on my vacation. It all started with getting my tires rotated. It went from there to new tires... ball joints... new motor mounts.... and finally... a new transmission. That's when I had enough. They (Smith Chevrolet) told me it would cost another $4,000 to $6,000. (I had already dropped $2000) I can't tell you how upset I was. Especially when I took my car to another dealer and they told me that I didn't need a new transmission. The noise I heard ... was because Smith's had NOT put in the motor mounts correctly. To make a VERY long story short. I basically trusted Smith's and got totally screwed. I won't ever be going back there!!!! So I called my brother-in-law and decided the best thing would be to purchase a newer car.

So I got a Lexis. Thanks Kevin for all your time and patience. Love my car!

Relay for Life

Jon is involved with Relay for Life. It's a Charity for cancer. I have to say I was extremely impressed and proud of my brother. I think it's something close to his heart- dad died of cancer and both his mother-in-law and father-in-law are survivors of cancer. This was my first time attending, I hope to go again. This is a picture of Jon's work and their booth.

This is a walk for all the survivors- they each received a shirt and a pin for how long they have been cancer free. It was super neat to see all of them. It kind of pulls at your heart strings.

Kristen with her parents

Jon was 1 of 3 people who raised over $1000 - way to go Jon!!!

They gave him a shirt. Carson had to go on stage with him :)

Joy and Stan Boyle with Shirley and Ralph Hunter

It was crazy. Jon and I ran into our favorite 6th grade teacher: Don Thompson. It was so fun to catch up with him. I also saw my really good friend, Matt Pond. He actually performed at song.

Wyatt shaking hands with the dog. They had so many fun things to do, to eat, and to see.

Riley helping at his dad's work booth. He did an awesome job with the hot dogs.

Riley was in charge of my dad's luminar.

Mindy and her girls doing her mom's luminar.

McKay and Grace coming back from visiting the dunking booth. They got a little wet.

Ashley's favorite booth. She's team Jacob.

For all the people that walked. They would get a treat and a pin.

I thought our luminars were awesome. I think ours were the only ones with pictures. The kids were so cute with them. I should have taken a picture of the backs.

The whole gang

We went to the Doman's for dinner
